Hearing what you are recording

I was evaluating this software and could not find anywhere how to listen to the song you are recording. It plays fine after I recorded it, but I wanted to listen to it while it was recording. Can that be done?

Good question!! Just three days later and I have exactly the same question.

I too am evaluation the software but before purchase I need to be able to monitor the input.

Is it a restriction of the software? I hope someone has the answer.

You mean listen to the output of your linein/mic ports on your soundcard? This is a Windows issue, and can be resolved by going to the Volume Control window which is accessible by double clicking on the speaker icon in your system tray. Go to options -> properties, add your microphone/linein, and then make sure the mute option isn't selected.
