Listening to a track while recording another

nodrog

I am attempting to record multiple tracks of guitar riffs and mix them together. However, I need to listen to the former track to make sure that I play in time with it. I read a former post that seemed related, but I couldn't find any way to un-mute under the control panel as suggested. My operating system is Vista. Thanks.

Try our MixPad software which will allow you to do this.

You need mixpad so you can do just that. It still uses Wavpad to edit your clip, but it goes back into Mixpad on a separate track where you can make your next track right below it, and so-on. I play and sing, and I love MixPad for this reason.

Good Luck
