Phonograph Hiss

I would like to see some way to remove the hiss you get when recording albums. The "Remove Hiss" feature removes too much other audio and the "remove from sample" function leaves a funny digital noise throughout the entire burned CD. Although it does a great job removing the hiss. <_<

Have you tried using one of the other noise removal methods? Have you tried using Golden Records?

I used the Multi-Band Noise Gating last night, set at -28 and it got rid of the hiss (for the most part), but you can still hear a slight hiss during vocals and the beginning and ends of your songs fade in and out, if they are soft.
