Well I was looking for a way convert my wav (wma) files to mp3. And it seemed everywhere i was looking the software had to be payed for. Then someone over at the Kim Komando boards suggested using "Switch". Its free so I tried it. I really like it so far. No problems yet.
Im making an MP3 DVD and I have a bunch of CDs on my computer that need to be converted from the wav (wma) to MP3 and the Switch is doing a good job. It seems to take a little long, maybe 5 minutes per cd. But thats ok.
Anyway, Im not sure if this is the thread to post this question in or not....
If I want to download a CD or CDR onto my computer that is not already an MP3 file, can I use Switch to do it? I mean, not have to convert like Im doing now. I want to directly convert to an MP3 from the source CD. Without putting the music on my computer and Then converting to MP3.
Will Switch do that? If so how do I do it? Im not a techie, so please be kind and give it to me so I can understand it.
Thank You
John
P.S. Also I meant to ask. Am I using a trail version? Will it expire and I have to buy it?
