I recently downloaded the new Express Scribe and I have a couple of problems that have messed with my defaults. I looked for help and there was nothing regarding this problem. First, I cannot use my F keys to bring up a new Word document as Express Scribe just plays the audio. Secondly, when I first open Express Scribe the 'speed' defaults to 50% all the time. I would prefer it being left when I leave the problem and re-open it. I would appreciate any assistance to rectify this. I do not want to use your Word document in Express Scribe as it does not have my personal dictionaries in it that I require.
