switch says aiff is corrupt

Hi all,

Just downloaded switch, seems like a very useful piece of software. I have a DVD ROM full of sound FX files which came from a MAC computer. I need to convert them from aiff to wav so I can use them on my PC recording software.

These files work in a quicktime player on both a MAC and PC, however when I load them into Switch to do the conversion it says the aiff file is corrupt!!

What does this mean? and is there a way of "uncorrupting" them so I can convert them.

do the files work in media player?

I don't think we will be able to help here, either it works or it doesn't - there are no additional plugins or such to download in this case.
