Hi there,
When I ignore/reject an incoming call using Express Talk (by pressing the 'hang-up' button) with www.mynetfone.com.au the caller gets an engaged signal even though I have MNF voice mail set up (i.e. it should go through to my MNF voicemail).
Same scenario with MNF's softphone and the call goes to messagebank no problems.
Same scenario with www.pennytel.com using Express Talk as softphone and the call goes to pennytel's messagebank no problems.
Everything else appears to work fine.
Can anyone shed some light on what I can do to have Express Talk functioning normally with MNF voicemail? i.e. rejected/ignored incoming calls divert to MNFs voicemail...
Express Talk is so much better than any other softphone I've encountered I simply must keep using it and get this issue sorted.
Thanks in advance.
Hi there
I am sorry to butt in on your page, I do not have a solution for your problem, but you seem to be contacting people and I am trying to find someone who can call me so as to test my setup also for contacts in other parts of the world I live in England.
I already have an sip account with Draytel.org and my address is " 865585@draytel.org " this is the registered address they have given me is this enough to go PC to PC or do you use the actual " sip number " or the " public IP " or " private IP ", this looks like a brilliant program I just need to get my head round it, but so far I have not been able to try it out.
Now I assume that if someone types that address ( whichever it is ) into their Express talk in the top address slot and calls me it should connect and ring at my end and this would be a free call.
Apparently anyone can call me and vice-versa with any sip address.
I know also that Draytel do cheap calls from where I am England to Australia for 1p per minute paid up front i.e. £10 or £20 credit, but it is nicer for free !!!!
Sorry to be long winded but I look forward to your reply with thanks
Terry
