Here is my situation. I have an Arthos JukeBox Recorder and use it to record Sunday sermons at our church. The file is already in MP3 format when I load it into the WavePad program. One of the line-in channels suddenly became bad. It's not dead but appears to be loaded with digital hash. The VU meter on the recorder for that channel is pegged even with no input plugged in. The other channel works fine. Unfortunately, when you set the JukeBox to mono recording it just looks at the left (bad) channel. I can't seem to work with the right channel alone.
All I want to do is take the entire left (bad) channel, turn the level down to zero and then create a new, mono MP3 file. I can't seem to do things like encode one channel only or adjust the level of one channel only.
Is there a solution?
