Losing MP3 Tags

When I edit a MP3 file (say to trim space), and then Save, I lose all the tag information. The same happens with files Saved As. Is this supposed to happen? Is it a 'feature' of the free version that doesn't happen in the paid-for one? It is certainly a pain having to go through and reset them all afterwards!

I can confirm that this is a problem/feature(?)

Is there a software setting to address this issue?

Yes, we are working on the next release of WavePad which will support ID3 tags editing. It will be released very soon.

I too found that I was losing the id3tags, but what I do is all the changes, save and then add the id3 tags and save again.

I've been doing that for a months now.

Please download the latest version of WavePad. It now supports id3 tag editing.
