I want to create a very simple phone system for customers where they can call a toll-free number and enter a unique serial number (which the IVM system captures numberically and passes to a database).
For example...
The serial numbers would be similar to credit card numbers. A customer would see the unique number on the product they purchased as something like, "3456-5438-1294" and be given directions to call. They call a toll-free number, the audio message says "Welcome. Speak or enter your serial number." ... they do... it's read back to them... if correct, the system says "Thank you" and hangs up. If not, it loops to collect the serial number again.
The "correct" serial number data the customer provided is stored numerically (not as an audio file) in a database.
Can the software do this?
