Hi,
I just installed WavePad to do a quick edit on a .ra file. After saving it back to .mp3, I am unable to get sound when I play the files. The software will play them fine (I use Winamp and Real Alternative for playback) according to the eq bars jumping around, except no sound comes from my speakers.
After uninstalling WavePad and restarting my computer I found that I can play .mp3 files through Winamp UNTIL I try to play a .ra file, and after that no sounds work at all. It's like WavePad changes the way .ra files are played on my computer, which for some reason breaks all the sound.
I've tested my sound card and DirectX and those all work fine.
Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
