An AI analysis of the error returns this, which you might forward to NCH along with the error file. Or simply reference this thread...
"The crash report for NCH MoneyLine indicates a segmentation fault caused by an infinite recursion loop within the application's UI handling of combo boxes and table views. This recursive notification cycle exhausts stack memory during Rosetta translation on Apple Silicon, requiring an application update or cleared preference cache from NCH Software to resolve. You can check for updates directly at NCH Software."
Have you cleared the cache? Try this...
For NCH MoneyLine, clearing temporary data can resolve sync or loading bugs. Note that NCH MoneyLine stores its essential transaction database inside your user library.
Be careful to only target cache files, and avoid deleting your actual local financial records.
Step 1: Safely Back Up Your Financial Data First
Before messing with internal application files, back up your primary database file:
Open Finder and press Shift + Command + G.
Paste this path into the search box: ~/Library/Application Support/
Look for a folder labeled MoneyLine or NCH Software.
Inside, your transaction data lives in a file named moneyline.vdb (usually under a Shared folder). Copy this file and paste it onto your Desktop or an external drive as a safety backup.
Step 2: Clear the NCH MoneyLine Cache
Once your data is backed up, clear out the temporary application files:
Make sure MoneyLine is fully closed (press Command + Q).
In Finder, press Shift + Command + G again.
Type ~/Library/Caches and hit Return.
Look for folders named com.nchsoftware.moneyline or just MoneyLine.
Open that specific folder, select the contents inside it, and drag them to the Trash. (Do not delete the root ~/Library/Caches folder itself).
Right-click your Trash icon and select Empty Trash
Alternative Method (Built-In Option)
Some NCH programs feature a built-in cache clearing function. If your version allows you to open the application without it freezing immediately: [[1](https://www.google.com/goto?url=CAESdQHrOzAV4D-tXT2J3DBP2NRNKP8u-abQXr28V6VEAozdjiZKO9Y8vwiEJOWiZvqjkL_3hHazbPWAmGSgHX-ePwweziWqwNy8FC9QPKIkomNRWkStRr4hApj55lxDFuZ-vdBq7LF4Y0N0UUARf-lCrQ2U0NyWXg)]
Open MoneyLine.
Go to the top menu and select MoneyLine > Preferences (or Options).
Look for a Disk or Data tab.
Click Clear Unused Cache Files if the button is available.
