I'm having the following problems with a project that I'm working on:
- There are 4 slides that were fine and when I opened up the project a couple of days after, the photos were blank. So I deleted them from the slide show and re-added them and they are then either blank or are distorted (zig zags). I've tried deleting and re-adding them from/to the media bin, clearing the cache, saving the project, closing PhotoStage, re-adding them to the slide show at different locations, renaming the files on my PC and then adding the renamed files. And nothing works. I also tried adding a different photo that was in the media bin, but I hadn't used in the slide show, and that one worked without any problems.
- At the same time as the issue with the 4 pictures started, the music bar on the timeline stopped showing anything but a black line - the music plays, but I can't see the green music waves. I can probably live with this bug, especially if I can't change the rest of the slide show. I ran into this a couple of weeks ago, and ended up deleting my music and re-adding it, but that was a pain (I've got 12 pieces of music for a 54 minute slide show and they need to overlap some in order to get a nice transition, so I can't just drop them all in the music bar - I've got to position them.
As part of all of this I've re-installed PhotoStage and deleted all the folders that Google AI suggested and that made it worse if anything. I'm now on version 13.00 on a Windows PC. The project has 475 slides and 12 pieces of music and runs for 52+ minutes. I'm using a basic Reveal-Left to Right transition between all the slides, and the transition is 2.5 seconds. Each photo is 6.972 seconds (in order to match them to the music). Each photo has a background that I added to the Elegant background theme - it's just a png that is a solid color. It takes quite a lot of time to build (several minutes at least) whenever I make a change or bring the project up. Is this all too much for PhotoStage? Or is my project corrupted so much that I'll have to start over (and throw away multiple days of work)?
I used to really like PhotoStage, but now that I've wasted more than 6 hours trying to get my slide show working again, I'd hesitate to recommend it.
