You should not have to start over. Try these procedures.
Save the slideshow...
- Go to File in the top menu.
- Select Save Project As (give it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite earlier saves).
- Choose a location on your computer and name your file.
- Keep in mind that project files only save file paths and names, not the actual media files. Do not move, delete, or rename your original photos, music, or video clips, or the project will lose them.
Close and reopen Photostage, but don't load anything yet...
- Click on Options in the menu.
- Look for the Cache section.
- Click the Clear Cache button.
- Check the Default cache folder path listed in that same section if you want to manually delete leftover temporary files to free up extra hard drive space.
Now reload your saved project - the most recent SPJ file. If it doesn't load (building preview) try an earlier SPJ or come back here for more suggestions.
