Memory Issue?

Good eve - I am working on editing and adding animation to videos in Photostage - according to my task manager, the program is functioning around 500-800 mb when it opens and loads - as soon as I try to do an animation (Ken Burns for example) it jumps to 3.3gb and the program starts to fail - shows green screens on those slides or nothing at all...even if i stop or remove the animation, the memory stays at 3.3gb...it only resets and acts normal if I close the program and reopen...so I suspect a software memory management issue...has anyone else had to deal with this...the program is basically useless if I cant operate these functions...thank you for your help in advance...

To clear your PhotoStage cache, open the program and go to Options > General > Cache. Click the "Clear Cache" button, then click OK. For a deeper clean, take note of the "Default cache folder" path on that same screen and manually delete any remaining files in that directory.

You might also reinstall the program. Come back here if neither suggestion is of no help.

Thank you for the info...

-Per your suggestion...I cleared the cache in the program and also deleted the files and folders from the listed path...

-I have reinstalled the program a couple of times yesterday just to make sure it was the most current...

The program is still functioning in that manner where it opens fine but as soon as I do something with the program, it shoots up to around 3 GB and nothing works...

Not normal. What are your PC's specs: RAM/CPU/Available drive space?

What release is being used? Install this one, even if it appears to be the same as your current version. Ignore any virus warnings during download.

If still no joy, the project needs to be examined. Come back here and instructions will be given.
