How to get rid of "Close Gap In Track" Button?

Hello with the newest updates there is this button that shows up between clips on my tracks to get rid of gaps.

It is fairly distracting and I do not need it. Is there a way to get rid of it?

It would be great if someone could help me. Thank you!

Repeatedly reinstall Videopad until the button is no longer seen in gaps. It may take only a single install ... or several. No need to re-download.

Though updates are free for six-months from the purchase date, if it's working well for you there's no mandate to make a change.

You can always test drive the latest when deadlines aren't pressing, just to see what's new.
