ninebyfour I have some mkv files with multiple audio tracks encoded but no matter which one I select for the conversion to mp4 it uses the non-english one in precedence to the english track. Does anyone know how to fix this?
borate A few things to try... Ensure you are selecting the desired audio track explicitly in Prism before starting the conversion. Some versions let you choose a specific track and also set a default or disable others; verify you’re not leaving “All Audio” selected. Check the Encoder Options or Advanced Settings for audio tracks. Look for a list of audio streams and set the English one as the active or default track, and disable or remove other tracks if the option exists. If Prism exports the file with the non-English track, try using the “lossless” or “preserve original audio” options only if you want exact tracks, or choose a specific audio codec (e.g., AAC) and explicitly map the English track if available. Consider re-encoding audio only: extract the English track to a separate file (optional) and re-mux it into a new MP4 while discarding other tracks, provided Prism supports selective track mapping.
