I have come across a problem with one of my partially received orders, I will not let me open the order to view or edit I can only preview it which is like a PDF version of the order

What is the cause of this as now I cannot choose what stock will be received on this order.

Once stock has been received against the order (even partially), the original order may be marked as “received” or “finalized” under that number, so the only action allowed is to preview it; any further changes must be done on a new or cloned order rather than the original.
The “preview” view is effectively a read‑only representation of that order, so you cannot choose which stock items to receive or change quantities on that screen.

What you can usually do instead

Receive the remaining stock on a new / cloned order:
Open the original purchase order, then use Inventoria’s “clone” or “copy” function (often under the Purchase Order menu) to create a new order with the same vendor and remaining items; receive the outstanding stock against this new order.
Use the “Stock Receive” tab:
If your Inventoria version supports partial receiving, go to the Stock / Stock Receive section, locate the purchase order, and receive only what you actually got. Any lines not yet received can either stay open or be moved to a new order, depending on your workflow.

How to confirm the exact behavior in your setup

Check your Order / Purchase Order options in Inventoria (Options → Order → Purchase Order) to see if there is a setting like “Allow edits after stock received” or similar; if it is disabled, that would force the order into preview‑only after any receipt.
Look at that order’s status (e.g., “Partially received”, “Closed”, “Authorized”) in the Purchases list; if it shows “Closed” or “Authorized”, you cannot edit it anymore and must work with a new order number."

Yes I did exactly this searching AI however there is no Clone option that I can see and yes you can receive the full order if you have more then one item to receive it receives all.

So it's not a user friendly area in the app, and it seems it only did this when only one item was undelivered.

Anyway I ws just curious to know if anyone else has had a similar glitch and what they did to over come it.
