Importing from ITunes crashes WavePad on ipad

I’m trying to import an ITunes track, WavePad shows me the iTunes list and I select the song. It then completely freezes wavespad and I have to close the app completely.

I haven used WavePad for a couple of months and I cant see any updates to install but this worked fine last time I used it…. Help?

Try a new install with the latest release.

Deleted WavePad and ITunes and reinstalled but still same issue.
