Using DVD-R on macOS Tahoe. verifying burn failed

Every time I attempt to author burn with DVD-R, when verifying always fails. All my burnable discs are DVD-R, do I need to buy different type of disc? Disc manufacture is Verbatim AZO DVD-R.

Things to try...

Test a different disc type - DVD+R or DVD-RW, for example.

Reinstall the program.

Share an ISO file so it can be tested by others. Here's how.

Once that's done, upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share or Copy. Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, click SHARE | SHARE and change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.**

I have purchased express burn-plus. Currently getting ISO file from disc. Taking a long time-time remaining increases rather than decreases. When I put burn failed DVD in optical drive the burned video played on my laptop. I wonder if burn failed notice was wrong?
