Overlay Text not Overlaying - Forces itself into Track 1?

?? When I started a new project this morning and went to add Overlay Text, it did not Overlay, it just auto added it to Track 1 instead of creating a Track 2. I have a screen shot but I can't find out how to add an image to this discussion? Help

If track one is empty, the text will be placed on that track. You can drag the text to track two, of course.

Before beginning a new project, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files.

Images and video can be linked here. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share or Copy. Copy the result and paste it here. When using Google Drive, click SHARE | SHARE and change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.**

This is the screen shot of what is happening. I just tried this same project on my other computer and it works fine. But this one consistently does this? And my cache is cleared.

I found the fix. On the left side lower Sequence there is a Drop Down Menu that allows you to pick from Storyboard and Timeline. Somehow, by accident, this selection had been set to Storyboard, which only allows editing on Track 1. Once I selected Timeline, all the tracks appeared again.
