Unable to create YouTube videos

Johnnyg

Im using Photostage slideshow for Ipad. Works well, except when i try to export to create a youtube video, all i get is a blank screen. Is this because im using the free version and the youtube version is unavailable? If i had the paid version, would the export to youtube work?

Whether free or paid shouldn't be an issue. Some AI suggestions...

Reduce Project Complexity: If you have many transitions, effects, or mixed video/photo media, try creating a simpler, shorter slideshow to see if it exports.
Use "Save to Device" First: Instead of uploading directly to YouTube, export the slideshow as a high-quality video file (MP4) to your iPad's Photo Library. Then, upload that file to YouTube using the YouTube app or browser.
Clear Cache/Restart: Close the app completely, restart your iPad, and try the export again to clear potential cache issues.
Check for Updates: Ensure you are running the latest version of the app from the App Store, as NCH often releases bug fixes for export issues.

Thanks for your reply. The only thing that works is exporting the file to the photos app.

Cab you explain the difference between photostage and photostage pro. The pro version is $10 vs $7 for the standard.

thanks

Here's the English purchase page. Note the pricing and feature difference between standard and pro.

A free version that does not expire includes most of the features of the normal version. If you are using it at home you can download the free version here.

In answer to that, AI provides this...

"PhotoStage’s main documentation is the NCH Software help/manual for the desktop app, not a separate iPad-specific manual. The iPad version appears in the App Store listing and Apple’s Photos slideshow help, which may be what you need if you’re using PhotoStage on iPad or looking for an iPad workflow."
