Thank you Borate,
I have installed the software key in the Stamp ID3 Tag Editor, even though I don't need it for this function (silly me!).
The tracks I am editing are on a network drive. I can edit the title, artist, Album, Track number Genre Category and Composer. However the Browse button on the right hand side of the bottom panel is still grayed out.
I have tried using the context menu for the tracks in the upper pane and they options are Select All, Play, Rename, Edit, Set Title to File Name, Create Audio CD and Create Iso CD. Edit tags is not available in the context menu.
I think that you may have given me a clue with your suggestion to check the "View' or layout options, I cannot see a View Menu, the only Menu headings are play, refresh, options and share. Options gives you Display info: Mp3, Flac, Wma, Wav and Ogg. and the General panel tick boxes are Decode files to show file length, Support External Images, Warn when write access is denies and include tagged by NCH Software. Share gives various means of sharing such as Facebook, Twitter etc.
There is no View menu.
Interestingly all other subfolders which my new rip sits next to cannot be opened by Stamp. It shows them as blank even though the Explore Folder context menu correctly shows the contents in a windows explorer window. Rename files within folder does nothing.
I would love to be able to use the software to add artwork as well as text.
What should my next steps be to unlock the capability?
Cheers,
Jack
