Mike_N-W I want to gradually fade a vocal track during mixdown, without affecting the volume of the other tracks. Is this possible?

How to do it (track automation) Use volume automation (envelope fade points) on the vocal track only: In the vocal track’s control area on the left, open the small dropdown that shows automation and choose Volume. A line (volume envelope) appears across the vocal clip. Click on the line to add fade points (at least one where the fade should start, and one where it should end). Drag the later point down toward the bottom of the track to create a fade‑out curve. Adjust the shape by adding/moving more points until it sounds right. Leave the automation on the other tracks set to “No automation” or unchanged, so their volume remains constant. When you mix down/export, only the vocal track will gradually fade while the other tracks stay at their original levels.
