Hi. I was recording an LP and the software stopped before side 1 was finished. How do I adjust Wavepad to record the without stopping?

I couldn't find that max recording time..or time time limitation options as you describe them. I'm also recording 10 inch 78 records.

WavePad usually stops early because silence detection or a recording time limit is turned on. Go into Options → Record, turn off silence detection, and make sure there’s no max time set so it can capture the whole LP side.

Hi. There is no silence detection in the software..maybe it's under a different name?

Maybe if you have wavepad you should open it and check these options for yourself.

I used wavepad for quite awhile..does anyone a dell computer with their wavepad? I am.having an issue with wavepad stopping while its recording?

I had an older dell computer with wavepad and that too just started stopping in the middle of recording...do you have this issue with dell and wavepad?

The make of PC should not make a difference. Follow the suggestions in this thread...

To turn off silence detection in NCH WavePad, navigate to the recording settings and disable the relevant automatic features.
