Volume Monitors

Have just installed Mixpad and set up to record a track using USB input from Roland Rubix 22. Can get not visual from monitors on pre-record volume levels and see no way to activate the monitors on the bottom and left side of system. I am seeing volume activity in mixer panel only. There was supposed to be some kind of toggle switch near the ? symbol at top right of screen. nothing there... How do I fix this?

I have downloaded Rubix22ASIO driver. I have configured track settings to reflect this as default for recording on Mixpad. I can see the volume changes when I arm the track in the monitor window. However, I cannot hear any playback sound in my headphones (Realtek headphones set as playback). I have tried Rubix22 as playback setting with no visible monitor response. All connections are good - usb from Rubix22 system and line out from speaker jack. Audio out on headphones working from other online sources.

I can see the volume changes when I arm the track in the MIXER window.
