Okay, so this was a weird occurrence and I've been using Debut for probably 2 years now on my Windows 10 Computer. Okay so I recorded a file on Debut from the Microsoft Store. Now I have time limits on my computer but that is unimportant. So my time ran out, I hadn't ended the recording yet. I pressed Ctrl + Alt + Delete to sign out. I pressed sign out. I left my computer off for roughly 2 days I recorded a new video with Debut, no issues. I was going to edit a video using Capcut. However the video file i was going to use as the main footage was missing. The list of recent files in the Debut Folder were Untitled 191, Untitled 192, & Untitled 194. I went looking for Untitled 193 in my Recycling Bin. I found the file so I pressed Restore. As I was importing the file. It said "Couldn't Import - Some materials are damaged" I was confused so I tried opening the file normally and it opened however nothing played because it gave me an error basically saying it was unplayable because it was corrupted. I'm asking if anyone knows why the video file went into my Recycling Bin rather than the Debut Folder because normally when I shut down the computer it ends the recording. Please send responses on why this may have occurred and maybe some ways that could fix the file. I will say the file seems abnormal since most Debut Videos are AVI Files although when I put that video into repair softwares it classifies the video as an MP4 file. Again please send responses as this file in somewhat important it is roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes long and takes up 4.2 GB of storage space.
