Scanner Dialogue

When I import via twain from my scanner to Photopad, the scanner dialogue opens but I can't change any of the settings. It literally scans as per the previous settings used by the scanner.

e.g. If i scan into Word I can change the dpi, colour, sharpness, screen etc.

I can click the drop down menu for Color Mode, but it closes the menu before I can select. I've checked it with PhotoShop, CorelDraw, IrfanView, Word and PDF Create, they all work fine.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your reply. I tried all available options and unfortunately, other than some making it worse, there was no actual improvement. 😕

Three suggestions...

1. Reboot the PC.

2. Reinstall the program. Here's the latest. For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.
