VideoPad Audio out of Synch

Been using VideoPad 6.23 for many years, no issues. Just purchased new PC as old HP Envy was not Windows 11 compatible. Lenovo Yoga tablet, Windows 11, just downloaded the free trial version 17.6 of VideoPad, looks good but won't purchase until I get a resolution of audio synch issue.

I added just one 70 second clip and in both timeline and review the audio is visibly out by around 0.7secs.

I tried several clips, same issue. I used the same clip in VideoPad 6.23, no issue, in Movie Studio Ver 12.0 , no issue, I downloaded the free trial of Filmora, no issue.

File is .MTS. format

Any thoughts as if I can't resolve then I will sadly have to look at an alternative editor, I don't want to as NCH has good products, I have Debut and Sound Converter plus they are Australian and supporting local products is so important these days.

Confirmed. Use this release and you should be good. Ignore any virus warnings.

Thank you, download of Ver.17.54 looks good, no synch errors, will purchase later today along with PhotoPad after running a few more checks

Good to hear. Rumor has it that a fix is in progress for the issue in 17.60, but there's no need to update if what you have is doing the job.

For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.
