How to solve WavePad Sound Editor Recording was very quiet. If recording is not working, try changing the device or recording volume Options

I have gone through all settings and i cannot record from my Mic. I have checked all of my Device Manager settings and all Sound, Video and game controllers are current. I am using Windows 11. Please advise.
