borate Split the file. The use Menu | FILE | Save All Files. The result will be separate files, most likely saved to the source folder. Is that what you're after?

borate Single saves can still be done. Multiple tabs result from splitting. Just click the tab of the segment you want, then go to Menu | FILE | Save File.
