Screen Recordings Unable To Be Transcribed

Hi -

Odd issue. I often screen record with the Debut software in order to save time and not have to wait for downloads. However, when I load the video into Premiere or any kind of transcription program or website, it cannot transcribe the video (which I need to do for captioning). I don't remember this being an issue in the past. Is there a setting that could be causing this issue?

If you are attempting to create a caption file, load the Debut file onto Videopad timeline and under the HOME tab click the Subtitles icon.

Choose Auto Subtitle. This will generate a list of captions that can be embedded into the video.

If instead you want the captions to be written as text overlays, go to the AUDIO tab on the menu bar and choose Speech-To-Text.
