Different zoom level for different tracks

I am currently editing a song to make an extended version by splitting the song into parts that I will rearrange.
The top track is the original song at regular speed. The second track is the same song slowed down to half speed, so I can more accurately decide exactly where to make cuts. The second track is displayed at twice the length.

It would be very useful if I could have the original track be the same length as the slowed track, but play back at regular speed when I select the original track. Having both be the same length would align the tracks, enabling me to see exactly where I want to make cuts by listening to each track as needed. This could be done if the zoom function were applicable separately for different tracks.

I would attach a screen shot if it were possible with this interface.

AI, while not guaranteed 100% accurate, offers this...

"There is no built-in option to visually stretch a track's display length independently from its playback speed in a way that would align a normal speed track exactly with a slowed down one for precise cutting and editing.

Mixpad's timeline zoom is global, not per track, and track length visually corresponds to playback speed. Your suggestion to have track-specific zoom or independent visual stretch for alignment of different speed tracks is not currently supported.

If precise alignment is required, one workaround might be manually adjusting the speed/stretch of the original track to match the slowed down track's visual length (even if playback speed differs), but then playback speed would also be affected."
