Need help with video pad when working with .jpeg files. When moving jpegs into the video track I don’t know how to control track, how do extend the time and keep everything together?

It's not quite clear what you are asking.

If you want to extend the length of still images, drag their handles left or right on the timeline...

If there's a gap between images, right-click in the gap and Close Gap... or drag the clip to where you want it.

Take a screenshot, if possible, and save it to a file. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share or Copy. Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, click SHARE | SHARE and change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.**

As mentioned, clips on the timeline can be dragged, for positioning. To shorten or lengthen still images, drag their handles.

I have three pictures, I want use YouTube. The 1st picture will display 4 x seconds followed by 2nd and 3rd picture staying on the screen for x seconds, pretty simple,

Sounds simple.

Place pic 1 on the timeline and either drag its handles to four seconds. The pop up when the clip is moused over will show the duration...

Or right-click the image and Change Clip Duration. In the box under the preview window set a new duration... Press the <enter> key.

Drag the second pic from the bin to the timeline, immediately to the right of the first. It should snap into place.

Or right-click the image in the bin and Place Clip On Sequence. Use the same procedure to set its duration...and so on.
