Just Upgraded-Reverse Command on Slideshow No Longer Functions

I just upgraded my Videopad. I use the zoom effect quite often on slide shows to zoom in and out on a photo slideshow. It was simple. I set my zoom frames to zoom in and then copied that sequence and hit the reverse command to zoom out for the second sequence. It seems that the reverse command no longer works for zoom on slide shows. This is a huge issue for me as 70-80% of my usage involves zooming in and out smoothly.

If I can figure out how to make this work, I will have to go back to the previous version or abandon Videopad completely.

Look like a bug, which has been reported. Here's what you can do to overcome it...

Using the animation graph, plot the zoom IN.

Create a Sequence 2. Go to the Sequence tab (top-left) and drop sequence one into Sequence 2. Now reverse it in Sequence 2.

You might also plot the zoom IN and OUT as a single effect in Sequence one. Zoom in, hold at that level if desired, then zoom out.

Thanks for the reply. I will try this, but with the old version it was "right click on the clip, select reverse' and done. Took about 2 seconds.

Click the caret at the top-right of the Videopad screen and File a Bug.

Now that it's been discovered, this will no doubt be fixed in the near future. There's no mandate to update; the latest can be test driven to see what's new.

Older versions are available here, should you not have your earlier install file and want to revert. Ignore any security warnings.

Be aware that projects made with the current release may not load in earlier versions.

It works now. Just very slow to make the conversion, but workable. Thanks for the support and prompt attention. Made my life easier.
