Is there a way to change the skin / theme of Wave Pad to lighter colours?

Hello.

How do I do this?

Thank you.

You can change the colors of individual audio clips within the editing window, making them easier to distinguish, but this is limited to clips—not the overall skin or theme of the program.

So many effects, tools, plugins and features, but you can't change to a brighter skin/theme.

This seems like an incredible limitation for such a relatively advanced software.

I have sent the suggestion

Thank you.

Windows: Open WavePad. Go to the Options menu (usually under the Edit or Tools menu). Look for Appearance or Themes. Select a light theme from the available options. Click Apply or OK to save changes.

Mac: Open WavePad. Go to WavePad → Preferences → Appearance. Choose a light color scheme if available. Save and restart the app if needed.

If WavePad doesn’t offer the exact theme you want, you might try adjusting Windows or macOS system colors, as WavePad sometimes follows system color schemes.

I've already looked for this feature but I couldn't find it.

If you are sure that WavePad has this feature, please explain a little more clearly where it is, because I am unable to locate it (windows), I can't find any Appearance or Themes option.

If you have just assumed that WavePad is similar to many other software programmes, perhaps this assumption is not correct.

Thank you.

if i cannot change the background to a lighter appearance(Like the last version of wavepad I had) I will be looking for a refund. I cannot work with the dark screen, my eyes are not as good as they used to be. its just not worth the strain

You can revert to an earlier release. http://oldversiondownload.com/

Ignore any virus or update warning. If it installs the latest instead of the version desired, disconnect from the Net prior to installing.
