Where is the option for sound-to-text conversion in Switch v11?

At https://www.nch.com.au/switch/audiototext.html there is much text about how you can convert a sound file to text. Can someone please show me how to do this with version 11 (Mac OS)?

The same problem exists in version 13.07 for Mac.

Wrong tool. Switch converts audio files to audio files.

Try Wavepad.

Use the transcript editor tool. Within WavePad, you can open any audio or video clip that has audio, go to the Voice tab, and click the Transcript Editor button. This tool will generate a transcript of the audio, dividing it into phrases that you can view, edit, and manipulate within the program.

The feature uses speech recognition to create the transcript and allows interaction with the text for editing and navigation.

At the WavePad Tools menu, the closest I see to speech-to-text transcription is "Text>Speech", and when you click on this buttion the window that opens makes it clear that the user is expected to enter text. The NCH team that does documentation should produce a video showing in detail how one gets speech-to-text transcription. This may be a hidden gem; but the memory and feelings of the time and frustration trying to find this functionality in NCH software does not generate good branding. I am sad about this, after many years of using NCH products.
