Hello,
I would like to know whether it's possible to make video selections simple and easy by using already made and loaded subtitle? So far I can see its unfortunately not doable yet in VideoPad what brings the question up, why?
VideoPad has already a nice Subtitle extra window the user can load subs which listed all time codes and subtitle text and you can simply jump on any location in the video quickly to edit the subtitle. So this window I also want / need to have in normal video editing window to jump / select the video part I want and add it to timeline etc without to search manually for the right video location.
Never heard about editing by subtitles yet? So you should add this feature too what makes video editing much more comfortable, easy and does increase the workflow. Just imagine you have to edit an long speech then its pretty helpfully to edit with subtitle help.
Another suggestion: In the edit fields where you can enter / paste time codes you should add a small copy & paste button (no idea why you don't let display the context menu to paste & copy and user has to use shortcut keys or mouse itself) and you should also format the entered data in a better mask to support ',' too instead a dot '.' in time format. SRT subtitles using comma ',' "00:14,760 " in time codes and VTT a dot '.' "00:14.760". Would be nice if you could check this better to allow entering with any dot or comma etc without to make some manually handling to make it work.
I also missing a search bar in subtitle window to enter some word / phrase etc to find anything quickly. So here you could also improve the handling a little.
Thank You
