VideoPad cannot find camera devices

Hello,

When I open the record video section I get the error messagt that no devices are found. I have 3 sometimes 4 camera devices connected. Even when I hit the retry button it is trying to find camera devices with no success.

I had similar issues in previous editions, but after a second search VideoPad finally found devices. I am not sure, if that was on my old computer, or if it worked on my new one as well.

System specification: WIndows 11, Intel Core i7 13700K, NVIDEA GeForce RTX 3060, ASUS ROG STRIX B660-F, 64GB Ram

Cameras: EOS Webcam Utility (for my CANON Camera (usually not connected), DroidCam Video (for my Smarphone independent if connected or not), Razor Webcam HD and ISY IW 3000 Webcam UHD

The microphones are all available...

Similar problem here for a start. Try a different order when you connect up. i.e....

Plug in camera.
Open VP and click Record/Record Video
If camera not immediately listed click down arrow again. It may show it defaulted to the PC camera. Here I don't have a camera built in but it listed my previous webcam. Down arrowing again showed the inserted USB webcam for an instant. Try this a few times until you can "catch" it. Once it appears in the list go back to the main screen and then repeat click Record/Record video. The new camera should now show as the default on the list. Wait a second or two until VP responds with the output.

I am always stuck in this popup with the arrow for the cameras greyed out:

I disabled the EOS Webcam utility.

After a while the resolution is no longer greyed out... but no device selectable (still greyed out and arrow does not react).

I still see the retry button for loading the device list...

I will now disable the droid webcam utility, maybe something changes...

I just found out.... if you wait for about 3 to 5 minutes, the Devices appear and the UI is no longer greyed out. Then everything seems to work... I am just not patient enough to wait 3 to 5 minutes without doing anything.
