Thanks again for all the help.
All file were done the same way. all numbered from 1 to 106.
Process:
VHS player to MP4 file.
Through Video@Digital 2.0 by Clear Click. Stored to a thumb drive ScanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 32GB and transferred to a MyPassport external drive plugged into a Dell laptop.
Note: the VHS is real time and I did not sit through the complete run. Results were extra unwanted video on the end of the transfers. My thoughts were to bring the file on to Video Pad and chop the ends off. This would give me a cleaner, shorter video.
MP4 to MP4 ends cut off.
Not all videos needed to be changed but went through this process anyway.
On VP "add file", wait for process to complete as stated above, move end of video to desired point and "Exported Video"
Reviewed video file and found bad files "CODEC" on #34,47,55,62,80,82,84,86,89,and 91.
Re "add files" could see complete video but could not affect any change to the frozen video. Audio did not seem to be affected.
I will try (reencode it with this free utility) and see what it does.
Also my computer speed may be a factor:
