As noted in your earlier thread, the position of the boxes is a feature being evaluated. Make a suggestion to NCH if you don't like it.
Reinstall the program a time or two - or more - and the behavior may revert to centering the box. No need to download again.
As for the cursor overrun, the project likely has unintended excess content that doesn't appear on the timeline.
This happens rarely on occasion, related to editing. It's not a bug. To correct it right-click in the blank area to the right and Close Gap.
If that's not available, drag the cursor to the end of the project, click the mouse and then the blue bracket...
