ERP Software for machine shops and manufactures

I am a one-man machine shop owner/operator. While I have plans to grow, I wud like to get the foundation of the business planted and secured. My plan is to achieve AS9100 certified. In order to do so I must have an ERP system in place. These are very costly and require another employee just to manage it. I would love to see a simplified but capable software to grow a small shop. Then graduate into something larger scale as we grow.

I switched to Acumatica through https://acupowererp.com/acumatica/distribution and it's been way smoother than what I was using before. The way it handles parts, inventory, and job scheduling just makes more sense. I liked that it didn’t take forever to set up either, and the user interface isn’t confusing. It’s cloud-based too, so I can check stuff on the go, which helps a lot when plans change last minute.
