Dell XPS-8900 desktop PC running Windows 10 Pro.
I was using VideoPad version 8.97 on a project and had no problems with exporting to .mp4.
I bought version 17.10. I've been continuing to work on the same project. This is the first time I've exported to .mp4 using version 17.10.
It has lots of dropped frames--green flashes when I play the exported video. I exported twice, the first time using constant 30 fps, the second time using 29.97 NTSC. The same dropped frames in both.
The file size of the .mp4 exported from VideoPad 17.10 is about 80 MB. The exported .mp4 from version 8.97 was about 120 MB. The data rate and total bit rate are lower than before.
I tried to paste a screen capture of the properties but it said I have to upload a file. I don't see any way to do that.
Exported .mp4 properties with version 8.97 were:
Video
Length: 00:14:10
Frame width: 720
Frame height: 406
Data rate: 996 kbps
Total bitrate: 1191 kbps
Frame rate: 29.65 frames/second
Audio
Bit rate: 195 kbps
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Audio sample rate: 48,000 kHz
Exported .mp4 properties with version 17.10 are:
Video
Length: 00:14:10
Frame width: 720
Frame height: 406
Data rate: 573 kbps
Total bitrate: 1191 kbps
Frame rate: 29.97 frames/second
Audio
Bit rate: 195 kbps
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Audio sample rate: 48,000 kHz
How can I fix the problem? Thanks.
