I had been using the free version of Express Scribe for years. I started having a problem with my foot pedal randomly not working so in 2013 I upgraded to the paid version. I still had the problem intermittently. I recently upgraded (required) in hopes that this might solve the problem. I upgraded to the Pro version while it was on sale & I have 2 identical foot pedals. It is still doing the same thing. It will be working fine and then randomly stop working. I unplug it from the USB connection and plug it back in. Sometimes it takes right off, other times, it won't do a thing. I go through the sequence a few more times and it will start working again but will randomly stop. I have tried using an auxiliary USB port, changing the USB port that I connect to and nothing seems to help. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance & have a great day!
