Recording from webcam, stuck at 640x380?

i9 13th gen processor
Razor Kyro Pro camera

So, In every other camera app I can see the camera at 1080, I can record at 1080.
but in video pad the camera shows up as USB device (but the audio is detected as kyro pro mic..?)
When I try and change the res' from 640 to 1080.. it hangs for a second and then defaults back to 640.

I've tried.
restarting
uninstalling razor software, restarting
re-installing razor software, restarting
reinstalling video pad, restarting

MS camera app, detects 1080 and works fine
Even the messaging apps detect and work fine.

Video pad refuses to allow me to use this webcam at the resolutions other apps can.
Any ideas? I'm starting to wonder if it's time to try a new video app.

Test this Videopad release. For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.

If no change, file a bug report.

Not to be a pain.. but it WAS working.
It's stopped working.
Your updated version did fix the issue.

Am I to buy a new version each time your old version (purchased only a year ago) stops working?

I can't afford that TBH.

I don't want to do that each year, just buy it and use it. I'm an actor, litterally just doing self tapes. No frills on anything.

Did you attempt to reinstall 16.57? If that doesn't succeed, updates are free for six-months after purchase. Your registration will be valid.

Go here to download a version that is within that window, but dated later. Ignore any virus warnings.
