GIA I'm new to DrawPad, so I hope this isn't a very obvious question, but when I select a pen color, that color appears on my drawing, but after a minute or so it changes to white. Why does it do this. Thanks in advance.
borate It may not be the answer, but AI has some suggestions... "The issue of your pen color changing to white in NCH DrawPad could be caused by one of the following reasons: Opacity Settings: Check if the opacity of your selected color is set to a low value, which might make it appear white or transparent over time. You can adjust this using the opacity slider in the Color Picker dialog. Auto Erase Feature: Some graphic tools have an "Auto Erase" option that toggles between the foreground and background colors. If this is enabled, it might automatically switch your pen color to white. Look for this setting in the toolbar and disable it if necessary. Layer Settings or Blend Modes: Ensure that the layer you are drawing on is not set to a blend mode like "Difference" or similar, as this could cause unexpected color changes depending on the background. Secondary Color Activation: If DrawPad uses a secondary color system, ensure that you are not accidentally switching to the secondary (white) color by pressing a shortcut key or toggling an option unknowingly. Software Bug or Glitch: If none of the above resolves the issue, it could be a bug in the software. In such cases, try resetting your tool settings or reinstalling DrawPad. You can also contact NCH Software's technical support for assistance. By carefully checking these aspects, you should be able to resolve the issue with your pen color in DrawPad."
