I can't export (echec statut all time)

I'm trying to export an MP4 video in 1080p25 from the Videopad software and every time I try, the export window tells me "failed". Also, I can't find where the sequence settings are. Can you help me? I should point out that I paid for the license with an activation key.

Is this a Video file export? What 'sequence' setting are you looking to access, specifically?

What version of Videopad is being used? Look at the bottom-left corner of the window.

Give this release a try. For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.

I'm on V17.08. And it's during a Video File Export. I set it for a export 1080p25 (.mp4) and as soon as I launch the export, it shows me failure in status.

I'm a professional editor and I don't have access to my usual editing software (I'm on vacation abroad). I usually configure my sequence before starting to edit, but with this software, you can only decide the resolution, frame rate, and container at the time of export.
I thought that might be the reason for my export failures.

There's no reason that McAfee should block the download, which is virus free. You may want to disable it temporarily.

You are correct: those parameters are configurable only at export, but frame rate would be an unusual cause for the failure.

Place the file/s on the timeline, then follow this procedure to share the project. This is not difficult, and it is the best way to analyze problems.

Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. No need to upload the individual VPJ or export file.
Get link --- Right-click the file and click SHARE. If using Google, right-click the file, click SHARE | SHARE. Change "restricted" to "anyone ... can view"
Share --- Click COPY LINK or OK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately. It won't be shared.

* Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

If using Google Drive, don't forget to change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."

I don't have a good connection where I am, and it's really slow (the file weighs 846 MB),

and when I try to drag my file into my Google Drive,

the slightest interruption in the connection stops the download.

Do you know how to render a sequence so that it can be played back in real time in the software?

After the caching ribbons are allowed to complete, which can take several minutes depending upon project length and complexity, play should be smooth.

When working with very high-def files, a lengthy project, many effects. it can be helpful to use Proxies. As you likely know, that's a common tactic.

Use the latest 64-big release, if possible.

Are you on a Mac or a Windows PC? 17.08 isn't shown in the NCH file repository for either.

Your project exported without problems at 1080/25fps, using the current Windows 64-bit release. Try it and see if that solves the issue.

There's no picture content between 1:39 and 3:21? The final fade should be a Fade Out, not a Crossfade, if you want it to fade completely.

Every slide has a Fade Out, but for the one at 1:03.

17.08 appears to be the French release. The one linked above is English, so it may not serve you.

As mentioned, consider disabling McAfee temporarily when downloading. The latest French release is here.

Click the caret at the top-right of the VP window for a drop-down menu that includes sending a bug report to NCH.

If all else fails, submit the completed project here, and it will be exported for you to Google Drive.
