Quick question, I use an external DAC and pass the bitstream via optical. DeskFX still works (surprisingly rare).
Can I assume that DeskFX is doing decode, manipulate, then recode before passing to the optical converter (which bypasses the audio chip in my system). If so, what is deskFX doing with sample rates? If I leave the EQ flat the audio seems to lose just a little at the top end.
