How do I copy and paste a page in my Pico application?

"To copy and paste a page in your PicoPDF NCH application, follow these steps:

Open your PDF document in PicoPDF.
Navigate to the Pages tab in the application.

Locate the page you want to duplicate in the thumbnails panel on the left side of the interface.
To copy the page, hold down the Control key (on PC) or Option key (on Mac) while clicking and dragging the page thumbnail to the desired location within the document.
Release the mouse button to drop the copied page into its new position.

The duplicated page will now appear in the new location within your PDF document.

After completing these steps, remember to save your changes to the PDF file. This method allows you to create an exact duplicate of any page within your PicoPDF document, which you can then further edit or modify as needed."

This did not work. It MOVED the page. Anyone know how to COPY a page?

What happens if you select the page and press <ctrl-C>. Then go to the new location and press <ctrl-V>?

That didn't work either. I am able to extract the page(s), now to insert them into the current document. I'll post again once I get a procedure finalized.

Humm... various sources indicate that Copy/Paste should work. Check this out as well.

There is nothing, so far, that defines how to take an existing page, in a document, and paste it somewhere else in the document.

You link does not show how to copy a page, just to add a new blank page. Did you watch the video you linked? 😅

I updated to version 7.3 beta to see if this is addressed, it is not. Waiting for a response from Tech Support.

This is such basic functionality that I'm shocked it is not included.

Don't have the app here, but you may be able to accomplish the task via a combination of split and combine PDF operations.

Now that it's been requested, <ctrl+click> to copy a page may show up in a future release. You can file a suggestion as well.

I sent documentation to support staff. The split and merge function you are referring to, I have already explored.

The merge function only takes two documents and places them together. You cannot control where you merge them.

If you have a large document and want to insert page(s) in various places you could achieve this using the split and merge. I've tested this.

It's impractical and cumbersome. If this is the solution, I may ask for my money back and searching another product.

I have had great experiences with many of NCH software products. I recommend them all the time.

We'll wait and see what software support comes back with. I will update once I get more information.

Be patient. An enhancement is being considered and may well appear in future releases.

In the interim...a best way to do this with the current version is to use Extract on the Page Manager, to copy the page to its own document.

Then merge it with the old document. The same document as many times as desired so if you want to copy the same page in 5X, just add it to the merge list, 5X.

Then, use the page manager to reorder the pages as desired.
