No sound in the editor

Hello! I have a registered and paid VideoPad. So far I have been editing videos without any problems, but the sound has stopped, you can't hear the sound on the videos. The videos work, everything else has sound, so it must be the program. The sound tracks are not muted, everything is at full volume. I have not adjusted anything on the sound settings from before. Pls help.

Launch Videopad.

If using Windows 11, right-click on the speaker icon at the right-bottom of the window and Open Volume Mixer.

Confirm that the Videopad slider is all the way to the right...

Thank you for your answer, but the slider is on 100%

Odd. Is the far-left audio track slider at Max? Try an install of the latest.

For one-time licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.

Yes, the track slider is at max. I made a reinstall, but it doesn't work.

Reboot the PC. In your project, confirm that no individual tracks are muted or reduced in volume...

Perhaps a component was damaged. Use this free utility to uninstall VP. When it requests to scan the registry, allow it and delete all entries that it finds. Now reinstall VP.

Share a project that has no sound, by following these easy steps closely...

The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps...

Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. No need to upload the individual VPJ or export file.
Get link --- Right-click the file and click SHARE. If using Google, right-click the file, click SHARE | SHARE. Change "restricted" to "anyone ... can view"
Share --- Click COPY LINK or OK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately. It won't be shared.

* Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Don't forget to change "restricted" to "anyone can view."

Sorry, I may have misunderstood what I wrote, but there is no sound in any project.

I have uploaded several videos, recorded narration, but still no sound. These videos have sound with a media player, but as soon as I load them into VP as a new project, nothing sounds.

I tried loading old projects, but they don't have sound either.

I made the uninstall with Revo and reboot the computer, but nothing.

Sure looks like the audio is there. Upload a project, per the above instructions. This appears to be a Windows issue.

Thank you for your help, but we solve the problem, the Win11 worked wrong.

Sounds fine, but for track 1 audio, which needs to be muted. Glad it worked out.
